The post-dinner question
“Magkano ako?” — without the calculator chaos.
Someone paid the whole bill. One friend only had a drink. Three people shared the pasta. Another skipped dessert. Instead of passing the receipt around and doing calculator math in the group chat, build one itemized split and let everyone see what they owe.
See it in recEAT
From one messy bill to everyone’s actual share.
Add the receipt items, tap who had each dish, and recEAT turns it into a clean per-person breakdown you can share.
Try a split →Start with what each person actually ordered
If someone ordered one main and one drink, those items belong to them. Itemized splitting works better than dividing the whole bill equally when everyone ordered different amounts.
Shared dishes should only be shared by the people who ate them
If four people shared sisig but two did not touch it, split that dish among four — not the entire table. recEAT lets one item belong to multiple people.
Add the service charge after the food is assigned
Keeping the service charge visible makes the final amount easier to understand. recEAT currently supports one shared service-charge amount across the meal.
Then send the answer, not the spreadsheet
Once the split is finished, each person can see a clear breakdown of what they owe. The organizer can send the recEAT link to Messenger, Viber, or the group chat instead of typing everyone’s totals manually.
Do I need to make an account first?
You can start splitting a bill in the browser. An account is useful when you want to keep history and return to saved recEATs.
