For barkada dinners
Bill Splitter for Barkadas in the Philippines.
Barkada dinners are rarely one clean equal split. Someone ordered drinks, three people shared sisig, two skipped dessert, and one friend paid the whole bill. A useful bill splitter should match that reality instead of forcing everyone into one equal amount.
See it in recEAT
From one messy bill to everyone’s actual share.
Add the receipt items, tap who had each dish, and recEAT turns it into a clean per-person breakdown you can share.
Try a split →Use pesos and the actual receipt lines
Start with the prices exactly as they appear on the restaurant bill. Keeping the original item amounts makes the final totals easier for the group to verify.
Separate individual orders from pulutan and shared dishes
Individual drinks and mains belong to the person who ordered them. Shared plates should only be divided among the people who actually joined that dish.
Handle the service charge after the food
recEAT currently splits one service-charge amount equally among everyone. Keeping it visible makes it easier to explain why each final amount is slightly higher than the food subtotal.
Send the recEAT to the group chat
Friends can check their own total in the browser instead of asking the organizer to paste a long calculator breakdown into Messenger, Viber, or another group chat.
Settle however your group normally pays
The calculation and payment are separate steps. The breakdown tells everyone what they owe; the group can settle using its preferred method, including common local options such as GCash or bank transfer.
